Description
Andaman7, the free app that puts your health record at your fingertips, is now available in more than 100 languages. Since day 1, Andaman7 was built to be accessible to the greatest number of people across the globe: we started with 3 languages, reached 25 in 2016, and we now support over a hundred, including new languages from Africa and Asia.
Why is this important?
Understanding your health record starts with reading it in your own language. Andaman7 has already been downloaded in more than 50 countries: patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals can now use the app in the language they are most comfortable with, and switch languages at any time.
What's new since version 6.0?
- Patient summary (IPS): your health record automatically summarized in the standard International Patient Summary format, shareable as PDF or JSON.
- Assessment tools and health questionnaires, including an assessment based on the WHO's ICOPE approach (integrated care for older people).
- FHIR health data: support of FHIR structured documents and a new FHIR demo record.
- Toolbox for occupational therapists of the Ergo 2.0 ASBL network, including the COPM evaluation.
- Clearer data history: better see where each piece of data comes from (traceability).
- New languages: Hungarian, Swedish, Indonesian, Turkish, Lingala, Swahili, Kikongo, Kinyarwanda, Luxembourgish… and many more, for a total of over 100 languages.
- Searchable language list (in Settings, at login and related screens): find your language in a few keystrokes.
- Sync status icon on your records list and patient details: tap it to read what sync does and to launch a synchro.
- Documents: rotate your phone to view them in landscape (when expanded); on iPad, they open in a larger viewer.
- Consultations: the newest note is shown when several versions exist.
How does it work?
- Download Andaman7 (free) or update it: App Store - Google Play.
- Pick your language in the app's Settings: type the first letters of your language in the list.
- Share this news with your relatives, your patient organization or your doctor.
