Edit 2016-08-29 : They just keep on coming! Two new languages have just been made available in our app. You can now use Andaman7 with an interface integrally translated to Korean and Polish!
Since day 1, Andaman7 was built to be accessible by the greatest number of people across the globe. Andaman was built in English but we also started off with two additional languages: Dutch, and French.
Recently, we achieved the great task of translating the whole app in no less than 14 additional languages:
- Arabic
- Bulgarian
- Chinese (simplified mandarin)
- German
- Greek
- Hindi
- Italian
- Lithuanian
- Portuguese
- Romanian
- Russian
- Serbian
- Spanish
- Vietnamese
This means that at any moment, the entire app environment can be switch from one language to another. Having the whole app translated can be of great help for foreign doctors to understand better/faster your health record!
The translation of all medical content is not possible yet, Vincent Keunen - our CEO & founder - wrote a blog post explaining the problems a company is facing when treating with free text translations; you can read it here. However, since version 5 of the app, you can now translate the content of your documents. To do so, you can activate the Andaman7 AI in the "services" tab of your app. Once activated, a button will appear under each document, allowing you to use AI for translation.
