Integration with Andaman7

It's easy! Get integrated with Andaman7.

There are three types of integration between external services and Andaman7, some of which are more "shallow" while others are more "deep". All services require patient consent. We believe trust and transparency are non negotiable. Services are of three main types:

  • Identification – Andaman7 is sharing (with patient consent) the basic identity of the patient with the external partner.  This improves the user experience between Andaman7 and the service provider.  For example, if the patient uses an online pharmacy service, providing the identity allows the patient to login to his account on the store.
  • Data - outbound – Andaman7 is sharing (with patient consent) a set of data elements from the patient with the external partner.  The data set is always well defined and approved by the patient.  For example, patients contributing to a clinical trial, patients wishing to share their PHR with their genetics service, etc.
  • Data - inbound – Andaman7 is receiving (with patient consent) a set of data elements from the external partner.  Those data elements can be used to enrich the PHR of the patient. For example, new insights provided by a genetics company or a trial, data coming from the EHR of the hospital or from the lab, etc.
